Summer Reading 2008
It's
time to get ready for summer reading at the Broken Bow Public Library and this year's theme is "Catch the
Reading Bug!"
Because so many children
now participate in summer reading, this year we are offering three story times-one for grades 3-5th on Tuesday afternoons
at 2:00 and two for the preschool-2nd grade on Friday mornings at either 10:00 or 11:00. All children regardless of their
ages are invited to be here on Thursday afternoons at 2:00 for special speakers and we've added movies for all children
on Wednesdays at 2:00! We do ask that children pre-register and those forms are available at the circulation desk. It would
be great if the forms were returned by May 23rd.
Participants earn prizes by reading or being read to 30 minutes
each day. A child can earn a prize each week and if a child turns in 6 reading sheets, they are eligible for a grand prize
and a special summer reading t-shirt.
The program is open to
all reading levels and is free to all children so don't miss out on Summer Reading 2008 - It all starts on May 30th so
come and "Catch the Reading Bug" at the Broken Bow Library!!
