(These backpacks are filled with books toys, and activites on various subjects--there are 43 differents packs to choose from)


We have six different newspapers available for use in the library.


For Your Use:


5 Computers

    - Microsoft Windows (Word, PowerPoint, ect.)

     - Wireless Internet access connection for public access and laptops

     - Black and white printer (10 cents a sheet)

     - Magic School Bus games

(users under 18 must have a parent consent card on file).


Meeting room

     - Television

     - VCR/DVD player

     - One-way downlink satellite for individuals/groups


Borrowing Policy:


Residents within the City of Broken Bow may obtain a library card at no charge.  Non-resident fees are charged annually for those living outside of Broken Bow's city limits.  Fees are $15 for an individual, $20 for a family, and $25 for a rural school. 

Each person wanting to check out library materials will be required to have their own library card.


If not reserved for another patron, the loan period may be extended for one, and only one, additional period.Renewing or extending the loan period may be done by phone or in person.


Overdue books, fines and expired cards require items returned, fines paid and cards updated before borrowing privileges can be reinstated or computer use allowed.


A fine of 25 cents per day/per item will be charged for overdue materials.  However, we do offer "FINE FREE FRIDAYS" when you can bring in overdue materials and we will waive the fines!


The library reserves the right to deny lending privileges to anyone for reasons of unpaid fines/fees, overdue items, or abuse of library property.
